Delhi schools resumes today for 10 and 12 students

Finally, after being closed for 10 months schools in Delhi will resume physical classes from today for classes 10 and 12, state government decided to reopen schools regrading the upcoming CBSE board exams. Since March 19, 2020 schools were closed to prevent the spread of coronavirus and switched to online classes, but now as situation is improving the Delhi government decided to reopen schools for board’s students. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the schools have been reopened for practicals, project work and counselling of students, and students will be called with their parents’ consent and will not be bound to come. Officials of the Directorate of Education has also made it clear that physical attendance isn’t mandatory and students will only attend school with the consent of their parents. The COVID-19 guidelines have also been shared with the schools.
