Jeff Bezos declares Amazon CEO to step down, Andy Jessie to take responsibility

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has announced his exit from the position of Chief Executive Officer. Jeff Bezos, who served as the CEO of Amazon, which has made a mark in the e-commerce industry, will leave his position by the end of this year. Amazon Web Services Chief Andy Jessie will be given the responsibility for the position in place of Jeff Bezos.

Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man, based on a stake in Amazon, said he would step down in the third quarter of this year and would replace Amazon Web Services chief Andy Jessie as CEO. This news came at a time when Amazon’s profit has increased to a record level.

Jeff Bezos is 57 years old and started Amazon from his garage. It then ventured into a venture that later dominated online retail. It features streaming music and television, rental equipment, cloud computing, robotics, artificial intelligence and more.
