Every year on first Sunday of August, Friendship Day is celebrated. It marks and celebrates the beauty, support and growth good friendship brings. In India, Friendship Day is celebrated on 1 August but in some parts of world on 30 July. In 1958, first International Friendship Day was celebrated in Paraguay, by Joyce Hall, who was the founder of Hallmark Cards. It was actually her idea to celebrate a day, where the bond of friendship is celebrated, people express their gratitude for their ture friends. In the 65th UN’s session in 2011, July 30 was designated as International Friendship Day. Our friendship is one the most beautiful treasure we have in this world, it supports us at the moments, when our family is absent. Not only that, but good friendship also stay with us, in our thick and thin. In our life, we will meet several people and not of all will become our friends, but those who will become our friends will definitely become an important part of our life. The good thing about friendship is that it doesn’t judge, and that’s what makes it beautiful and precious. We have so many different types of friends, some talkative, some shy, some outgoing, some who only love peace and tranquility, no matter what type of friends you have, hold them tight. With each bond of good friendship, out life becomes more beautiful and surreal.
