Delhi University has officially announced the commencement of Round 1 of DU spot admission, starting from September 18, 2024, for undergraduate programmes in the 2024-25 academic year. The application window for this spot round will be open from 10 am on September 18 and will close at 11:59 pm on September 19.

According to the notification issued by DU on Sunday, candidates who applied for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2024 but have not yet been admitted to any college by 5 pm on September 17 are eligible to participate in Round 1 of DU spot admission. Eligible candidates can opt for the ‘Spot Admission’ option on their CSAS dashboard to proceed with the application.

Key Dates and Deadlines

Once a seat is offered during Round 1 of DU spot admission, candidates must accept their allocated seat by 11:59 pm on September 22. The final payment to confirm the seat must be made by 4:59 pm on September 24.

Spot Admission Process

Applicants can only choose programme-college combinations where seats are still available. Once a seat is allocated, it is final, with no option for withdrawal or seat upgrades in spot admission rounds.
