CLAT 2024 Date Announced: Exam Scheduled for December 3

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) Executive Committee and Governing Body are pleased to announce the date for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024. As per the official notice, the CLAT 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
The CLAT exam is a highly anticipated national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by the prestigious NLUs across India. With the announcement of the exam date, aspiring law students can now mark their calendars and begin preparing for this crucial examination.
The consortium will release detailed information regarding the CLAT 2024 syllabus, application process, and counselling procedures in the upcoming weeks. Prospective candidates are advised to stay tuned for further updates. Tentatively, the CLAT 2024 application form will be made available in the last week of July 2023.

To ensure widespread accessibility, the CLAT 2024 exam will be conducted in more than 130 exam centers across India. This extensive coverage aims to facilitate candidates from various regions to participate in the examination without facing logistical challenges.
The CLAT 2024 question paper for the undergraduate program will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. In contrast, the postgraduate paper will feature 120 questions, covering subjects such as English, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Knowledge, including current affairs. As per the CLAT marking scheme, each correct answer will be awarded one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
