4th International Short Film festival – Quarantine Bioscope 4.0

Quarantine Bioscope 4.0 – 4th International Short Film Festival is an initiative undertaken to encourage budding filmmakers to keep their craft alive in the medium of short films and documentaries and learn from their peers. In the third season of the International Short Film Festival, “Quarantine Bioscope 3.0” top 10 films were selected and screened at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, from over 40 movies. This event was collaborated by P.L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy and entitled as P. L. Deshpande memorial film festival. 

This year, the 4th International Short Film Festival is going to be screened at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Mini Auditorium, Thane on 26th March 2024, 12:00 PM. This edition is brought to you by Rohan Mapuskar Casting, and a total of 17 short films and 3 documentaries will be screened on that day, which were shortlisted from over 50 entries from across the Globe. Various filmmakers sent in their entries from all over India and a few entries from Germany and Italy as well. The top three winners would be felicitated with a customized trophy, exciting cash prizes, gift hampers courtesy of our sponsors, as well as a certificate. 

Various film and television artists, theatre personalities of the Hindi and Marathi industry would be gracing the event with their presence.

The cause partner associated with this event is Pawfriend.in, an organization headed by Akshay Ridlan. Trail the Tail a joint initiative of the Rotaract Club of Smart City Navi Mumbai and Pawfriend.in, which works with the tagging of stray dogs with QR codes containing all the medical information, demographics, vaccination status, and all funds generated in Quarantine Bioscope 4.0 would be directed towards this cause.
