As dengue cases rise, UP government cancels leaves of doctors

The Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled all medical professionals’ vacation time due to an increase in dengue cases.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, there are fewer dengue cases this year than there were last.

Doctors and paramedical employees have had their leaves cancelled by the Chief Minister’s Office.

He said that the rising dengue cases in Uttar Pradesh are under control and that every effort is being made to stop the spread.

“fewer cases than the previous year. Hospital beds are set aside, and enough platelets are being prepared. All government medical professionals’ leaves have been cancelled, “Pathak stated.

The decision to send a high-level team to Uttar Pradesh in cooperation with the state government to implement dengue management measures in the Firozabad, Agra, and Etawah districts was announced earlier on Friday by the Centre.

According to a news release from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, “a high-level multidisciplinary team would be sent to Uttar Pradesh to work with the State Health Authorities in initiating public health measures for Dengue management in Firozabad, Agra, and Etawah districts.”
