“Consider revising your message? After you push send, you will now have just over two days to remove your chat messages “The platform tweeted something.

Users of WhatsApp have up to two days and twelve hours after sending a message to remove it. This time limit was formerly set at 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds. A new version of WhatsApp, 2.22.17.12, is being released through the Google Play Beta Program, enabling group administrators to delete any message on behalf of all members. In preparation for a future app upgrade, the Meta-owned platform is also working on allowing users to edit their text messages.
