
IIM Indore student have bagged ₹1.14 crore pay package for a domestic job in the final placement session. This is the highest package to be offered.
A student of the Indian Institute of Management-Indore has been offered an annual salary package of ₹1.14 crore for a domestic job, an IIM-I official said on Wednesday.
According to the official, this is the highest pay package provided during the institute’s final placement of this session and is 65 lakh more than the prior occasion.
According to the official, the highest remuneration given to IIM-I students during placement in the previous session was 49 lakh rupees.
More than 160 local and international businesses offered 568 IIM-I students an average salary of $30.21 lakh at this session’s final placement.
Students from the two-year Post Graduate Program (PGP) and the five-year Integrated Program in Management received the offers (IPM). According to the official, both courses are thought to be MBA-level equivalents.
Prof. Himanshu Rai, director of IIM-I, stated, “We have always been willing to expand our engagement with the industry by giving the students access to top-notch management education. The fact that our students received good positions despite the difficult circumstances is evidence of this.
IIM-I reports that at the final placement, the consulting industry received 29% of all employment offers, followed by general management and operations at 19%, finance and marketing at 18% apiece, and information technology at 16%.
