Poetica 6.0- An International Literary festival
Poetry is a painting that speaks!
Rotaract Club of Smart City Navi Mumbai in association with Gandhar Events & Entertainment are coming up with their flagship project Poetica 6.0 which is an International Literary Festival on 19th, 20th, and 21th May 2023. This International Literary Festival in its 6th Editions, this year we aim to provide a stage for literary artists to showcase their talent in front of an enthusiastic audience across the boundaries making it an International Literary Festival. Poetica 6.0 is a three-day festival where the first two days are an Online Poetry Competition where participants across the globe will be participating amongst them Top 16 will perform online and the entire event will be streamed on our official website and Facebook live. This International poetry festival will be judged by renowned poets. To describe this festival in simple words, Poetica is an ‘Open Mic platform for Poets’. It provides a strong platform as well as great exposure to budding poets who wish to showcase their talents. There were no boundaries or limitations set for the participants. The winners will be given customized certificate frames, and a lot of gift hampers and vouchers.
On Sunday 21th May 2022, the team will be conducting On-ground Kavya-Samellan “POETICA LIVE” at Air Space Atrium, Nexus Seawoods mall, Seawood where 6 renowned poets will recite their powerful poetries and share their favorite poets and what prompts them to write. It will be an evening filled with passionate poets who has transcended language and make a connection with an audience of veterans and amateurs. This event was witnessed by Rotaractors of Rotaract District 3142, Rotary Members, Guests of literature fraternity and audiences across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai etc.
Past years of Poetica were a big hit, we had an overall participation of more than 75 participants all across the globe. We had a total of 209 members attending the event on Zoom and it had more than 5000 audiences watching it live through Facebook. There were a lot of Celebrity line-up who witnessed this event like Rajesh Mapuskar, Chinmayee Sumeet, Mrunmayi Deshpande, Madhurani Prabhulkar, Nikhil Ratnaparkhi, Abhijit Guru. This event has been judged by a lot of renowned Poets like Sanket Mhatre, Rakesh Tiwari, Aditya Davane, Irfan Tarique Khan so far.
